How Build Supply Indonesia handles your data. We keep it minimal and we do not sell it.
1. What we collect
Account details (name, company, email, phone, website), professional information supplied in applications (categories, coverage, certifications, product descriptions), project briefs, on-platform messages, and standard technical logs.
2. Why we collect it
To operate the directory: vetting suppliers, matching briefs, enabling messaging, confirming orders and invoicing commission. We also use aggregate, non-identifying data to improve the service.
3. What we share
Approved Suppliers' company profiles (company name, description, certifications) are visible to registered Designers. Personal contact details are shared between a Designer and Supplier only after an order is confirmed or both parties agree. We do not sell personal data. Service providers process data on our behalf under their own safeguards; these currently include Railway (hosting), Supabase (database, Singapore region) and PostHog (analytics).
4. Storage and security
Data is stored in the Asia-Pacific region (Singapore). Access is restricted by role, passwords are hashed, and contact details are protected by row-level security.
5. Your rights
Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27/2022) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Write to privacy@buildsupplyindonesia.com. Closing your account removes your profile from the directory; records of confirmed orders are retained as required for tax and accounting.
6. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and basic analytics. No advertising trackers.
7. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
